The HTC Droid Incredible will get Android 2.2 Froyo love very soon and if all buzz gets approved the release date will be August 18. The HTC EVO and Motorola Droid updates are at its finishing stages according Droid-Life; so to have the HTC Incredible next on the list all makes sense really. An amazing report of Mashable said that the August 18th date with a few Froyo build leaks out in the open for the DI.
As most of you will be familiar, the Droid X, Droid 2 and even the original Droid are already running Froyo, so it is perfect timing for Incredible owners who have been getting impatient.
Droid-Life has a little information about Froyo on the Incredible, which is quite fascinating. They title it as ‘Android 2.2 on DROID Incredible is “Incredibly” Fast’.
