LG has announced its latest Android phone, the LG Optimus Q2. The gadget is successor to the LU2300 smartphone that launched last year. The Optimus Q2 is the first phone of LG that is embedded with dual-core 1.2GHz Tegra 2 processor.
It uses an LCD capacitive touchscreen that is based on IPS. It also has full QWERTY keypad packed beneath 4 inch display screen of 800x480 pixel resolution. Despite the QWERTY keyboard it is not too bulky or huge, measuring 123x65x12.3mm in size and weighing only 147g.
On the back of handset there is 5 megapixel camera, with a VGA one up front which support video calling. The handset is running on Google’s Android OS, the version is Android Gingerbread.
There is no info about LG Optimus Q2 UK release date, but next week the phone is coming out in South Korea. Pricing plans of the smartphone is remaining in mystery.
