Vodafone has set that it will be the first UK network to store the White Google Nexus S, once the handset release in the “next few months”.
Following its Carphone Warehouse uniqueness, the Google Nexus S will soon be accessible to UK customers directly through Vodafone. Not only will the network be joining the retailer to move forward the Gingerbread-equipped smartphone, it will also be the first European carrier to propose the handset in White.
Patrick Chomet, Vodafone’s Group Director of Terminals, said: “It’s great news that our customers will very soon be able to get Google’s Nexus S direct through our stores. At Vodafone we work closely with our partners across the industry to offer our customers a leading smartphone range that includes the latest advance in product and customer experience”.
The handsets have its Android 2.3 OS and its 4 inch Contour display. The Google Nexus S has a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, VoIP support, NFC technology, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and 16GB of internal storage.
Although its release date is still to be confirmed, it seem as the Google Nexus S White could hit Apple‘s attempt to the shelve.
