Motorola Xoom 2 is a slimmer and lighter sequel to the original Motorola Xoom. The tablet measures in at 253.9 x 173.6 x 8.8 mm in dimensions and weighs at 599 grams. The Motorola's tablet is now faster, smarter and performs even smoother.
Specifications
Motorola Xoom 2 has a 10.1 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen. The display has a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. Motorola has made the display from Gorilla glass and added a layer of splash proof material, which makes the display scratch resistant and spill proof. Xoom 2 has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 1GB RAM and ULP Geforce GPU. An onboard storage of 16GB is provided. The tablet runs on the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. Motorola Xoom 2 has a primary snapper of 5 MP on the back and a secondary snapper of 1.3 MP for video calling.
Advantages
1) The tablet is slim and light, so it would not be a problem lugging it around.
2) The display is of a very high resolution.
Disadvantages
1) The Honeycomb OS will soon be obsolete due to the arrival of ICS OS.
2) There is no 3G support.
